The Opportunity
This role has been created to support the company during a period of increased workload as key team members take maternity leave. You'll work directly with the owner and collaborate with a small, experienced team in a fast-paced office environment. The position focuses heavily on maintaining accurate financial records across multiple client accounts while helping keep essential bookkeeping functions on track. For someone who enjoys independent work, organization, and making a measurable contribution every day, this is an excellent opportunity.
What You'll Do
• Process high-volume data entry and bookkeeping transactions within QuickBooks Online
• Review and categorize bank and credit card transactions across multiple company files
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure financial records remain accurate and up to date
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and support ongoing bookkeeping activities
• Partner directly with the owner to help manage workload priorities and address accounting backlogs
What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience in a professional setting
• 2-3+ years of recent experience using QuickBooks Online with confidence and accuracy
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage work across multiple entities or company files
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills and public accounting or multi-entity experience are preferred but not required

This position is fully onsite in Shafter and follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Candidates who are comfortable working independently, can quickly learn priorities, and have the ability to keep multiple tasks organized will be especially successful in this role.
