Flooring Design Consultant

Base Pay $15.00 / Hour Other Compensation Monthly Commission with no Cap Employee Type Full Time Manage Others No What You’ll Do Meet with customers to understand their flooring needs, style, project, budget, and timeline. Consult, recommend, and sell the right flooring products and solutions. Own the customer experience from the initial conversation through the sale and follow-up. Build a pipeline of opportunities and actively follow up to close business. Ask for the sale and confidently overcome objections. Develop relationships that generate repeat business, referrals, and new opportunities. Use product knowledge and sales tools to create solutions—not simply quote prices. Achieve individual sales, conversion, and other performance goals. Maintain an organized and compelling showroom that helps customers visualize their projects. Process sales and orders accurately and ensure customers receive what they purchased. Support inventory and day-to-day store operations when needed. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED. 1–3 years of retail or sales experience preferred; flooring knowledge a plus. Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills. Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a bonus. Forklift certification required prior to operation. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
