Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Tele) registered nurse positions are available in an urban healthcare setting. These roles involve providing care to high-acuity telemetry patients, including those with cardiac conditions such as atrial fibrillation with RVR, heart failure, and post-procedural patients. The positions are full-time, day shifts working twelve hours, with a focus on critical assessment, telemetry interpretation, and ensuring quality patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Twelve-hour shifts, 36 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: Active compact license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), two years of strong Cardiac/Telemetry experience, at least one travel assignment, trauma level II experience, recent Electronic Health Record (EPIC) charting experience (will require a checkoff class), and current certifications attached upon submission
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with 12-lead electrocardiogram interpretation; proficiency in initiating and titrating drips such as antiarrhythmics, heparin, and medications for cardiac rhythm management; skill in PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stable drips including heparin, Lasix, Protonix, and antidysrhythmic management like cardizem, tikosyn, amiodarone; strong assessment and critical thinking skills, social candidates, resilient, adaptable to change
• Float: Float rotation within skillset; potential to float between campuses with 2-hour notice; cross-campus float possible with on-shift float within the same campus
• On Call/Call Back: Not required
• Weekend/Holiday: Three weekends out of six-week schedule; every other holiday
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• End Date: 01/17/2027
