Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical lab tests including but not limited to chemistry, hematology, and immunology in accordance with standard protocols.
• Ensure accuracy by analyzing results, addressing discrepancies, and maintaining lab instruments through preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, support the training of new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Comply with regulatory and accreditation standards, while ensuring a clean and secure workspace.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related allied health field along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be achieved within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
