Structural Project Manager

Job InformationSouth Bend, IN | Data Center Construction | General Contractor We are working with a General Contractor delivering a major 350,000 sq. ft. data center development in the South Bend area and are looking to appoint an experienced Structural Project Manager to join the project team. This is a site-based role with responsibility for managing the structural package across a large-scale ground-up data center build. Recent data center or mission-critical construction experience is essential.The RoleThe Structural Project Manager will take ownership of the structural scope from planning and procurement through installation, coordination and closeout. Responsibilities will include:Managing the structural package across the projectCoordinating structural steel, concrete and associated trade partnersReviewing drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals and change ordersManaging subcontractors, vendors and project documentationTracking schedules, budgets and package-level progressCoordinating closely with civil, architectural, MEP and field teamsIdentifying design or sequencing issues and driving solutionsSupporting procurement and long-lead material planningEnsuring work is delivered safely and to the required quality standardsManaging punch list, closeout and final documentationWorking closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, engineers and trade partners throughout deliveryWhat We're Looking ForRecent data center or mission-critical construction experience is essential Strong General Contractor or major construction management background Project management experience across structural steel, concrete and structural packages Experience delivering large-scale ground-up construction projects Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trade coordination Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, RFIs and submittals Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work full-time on site in the South Bend areaThis is an opportunity to take ownership of a key structural package on a major ground-up data center development and work with an experienced project team through delivery.
