Account Manager Assistant

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have an Account Manager Assistant opportunity with a Florida-based employee benefits and insurance consulting firm. The position will provide administrative and operational support to the Account Management team. This position requires flexibility between various tasks daily.

Specific Duties

• Provide support to the Account Management and Operations teams, as directed.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Account Management & Operations) weekly to meet goals and expectations, which includes attending weekly meetings.
• Provide support by creating spreadsheets, renewal proposals, PowerPoint presentations, and enrollment materials for Open Enrollment meetings.
• Assist in copying, scanning, printing, and assembling presentation materials for Account Executives' client meetings and Open Enrollment.
• Manage calendars and coordinate meetings and conference calls, as assigned.
• Assist with daily benefits administration and Account Management Team processing tasks, including:
  • Adding and terminating benefits
  • Pulling/reviewing payroll deduction reports
  • Cobra administration
  • Assisting with claims resolution, within scope and Director approval

Required Qualifications

• Excellent computer skills required.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as knowledge of CoPilot, ChatGPT, or related AI applications.
• Basic to advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word.
• Attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect, listen, and advise.
• Excellent time and priority management with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Health Insurance industry.
• State of Florida Life and Health Insurance License.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location.
