We believe that a variety of backgrounds makes our team stronger and more innovative## **At Airgas, we RESPECT, HONOR and VALUE diversity.**## **Airgas is Hiring for an Operations Coordinator in Overland Park, KS!**# *We are looking for you!** **Comprehensive Family Benefits:**Airgas offers a full benefits package designed to support your whole life, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance.* **Support for Parents:**We offer a 14-week paid child birth benefit to support growing families.* **Future Security:** 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match, Tuition Assistance, Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Sick time.* **Early Access:** Your benefits start after just 30 days of employment.* **Work Schedule:** Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm**Recruiter:** Jacob (View email address on click.appcast.io) Phone: View phone number on click.appcast.io Call or Text**Performs clerical and administrative tasks with excellent attention to detail, supporting the overall success of the team through a combination of the following: supporting administrative functions of the plant, managing data entry, interacting with internal branches as well as our external distributors, and contributing to other general duties as required to keep the plant running smoothly.****Job Duties:*** Provides dedicated administrative support to the Plant location.* Collaborates with the team by entering tickets, production data, cylinder movements, and raw material receipts in SAP on a frequent and daily basis.* Manages the ordering and maintenance of supplies and plant repair materials to ensure the team has what they need.* Performs filing, copying, and data entry to keep our records organized and accessible.* Serves as a key point of contact by answering telephones, providing helpful information to callers, and routing calls to the appropriate person.* Supports unique customer needs by processing special handling in billing.* Welcomes and manages all incoming mail, ensuring it is sorted and distributed to the right team members.* Prepares essential shipping documents for outbound freight.* Maintains a neat, clean, and professional presence as a representative of the brand.* Collaborates with the team to compile and enter month-end inventory.* Partners with the warehouse team to ensure accuracy and alignment of incoming loads.* Finalizes outbound loads and confirms they are complete and ready for our customers prior to shipping.## \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_## ## Are you a MATCH?## ****Required Qualifications:***** High school diploma or equivalent (GED).* 1 year administrative or clerical experience.* Excellent customer service and communication skills* Intermediate computer proficiency with MS Word and Excel.* Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines* Ability to operate a forklift and become certified* Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and to request clarification when needed.* Ability to maintain established records and files.* Ability to meet external and internal customers and to deal effectively with their questions or problems, seeking assistance when needed.* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, and officials in other departments.* Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
