About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Development in Texas. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's real estate investment activities in the region, with a focus on the development of high-quality multifamily and mixed-use communities. This leadership role is pivotal in driving the company's growth, maximizing investment returns, and ensuring the successful execution of all projects from inception to completion. The Managing Director will be responsible for all aspects of the development process, including sourcing, evaluation, underwriting, and execution of opportunities, as well as leading a team and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. A deep understanding of the Texas real estate market, strong financial and analytical capabilities, and a proven track record in leading complex real estate developments are essential. Candidates for the Managing Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree or MBA strongly preferred, and a minimum of 12 years' experience in multifamily real estate development. The role requires extensive knowledge of real estate finance, underwriting, market analysis, and construction practices, as well as a strong understanding of the regulatory environment in Texas. The ideal candidate will have a proven leadership experience, exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of industry stakeholders. The position demands a high level of proficiency in financial analysis tools and the ability to travel regularly within the region.
