Atlantic Eye Physicians is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Surgical Counselor/Coordinator to join our clinical team! Atlantic Eye is a multi-specialty ophthalmology practice with locations in Eatontown, Holmdel, Little Silver, and Wall Township. What You’ll Do: Guide patients through their surgical journey with empathy and confidence. Educate patients about surgical procedures and premium lens options. Handle financial discussions and obtain signed consents. Coordinate surgery dates and follow-up care with physicians. Schedule in-office procedures and manage all related paperwork. Answer patient questions pre- and post-surgery. Ensure accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record system. Travel between our Monmouth County locations as needed. What We’re Looking For: A people-person with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Surgical counseling experience required—ophthalmology experience is a plus. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Confident using computer systems and EHR platforms. Team player with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, patient-first environment.
