Post Acute Account Manager

Job Summary Under general supervision, manage the relationship with existing accounts. Responsible for managing a book of business for existing accounts and generating revenue on assigned accounts. Serve as the primary interface for all products and services and create demand for the organization's products and services. Build and maintain effective long‑term relationships with a defined customer base to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Review accounts, sell new business to existing accounts and convert accounts to a higher level. Possibly responsible for new account installation. Create demand for the organization's products and services by working with National & Regional accounts. Build and maintain sales territory of smaller accounts, located in secondary & tertiary markets focusing on sales and customer relationships. Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with customers to understand needs and link them to product/service strategies. Coordinate sales forecasts with internal team. Manage co‑op accruals and set‑up new customers into Medline's systems. Create new products to sell to existing and new customers. Increase revenue spend per account. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field and at least 2 years of quota‑based sales experience OR at least 5 years of quota‑based sales experience, with a background in cold calling, commissioned, full‑cycle sales. Ability to present on and be knowledgeable of multiple product lines. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a detail‑focused, results‑oriented environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. People‑oriented with strong interpersonal skills and strong customer service focus. Ability to deal with difficult situations positively and skilled in problem‑solving techniques. Ability to function productively within a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking, entrepreneurial environment; proven ability to manage full life‑cycle projects and bring them on time. SAP experience. Computer proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Position requires business travel minimum 3 days per week, including driving a car 90% of each day. Interaction with healthcare providers on‑site required. Benefits & Compensation First‑year guarantee of $100,000, with minimum base salary of $75,000. Eligible for 100% commission/Spiffs and bonus eligibility. Medline will not pay less than applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
