Position Profile Facilities Manager Chino Valley Community Church Department: Operations Job Title: Facilities Manager Status: Full-time, exempt Reporting to: Executive Administrator Position Overview The Facilities Manager will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of all physical campus operations at Chino Valley Community Church, ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained as a reflection of our commitment to excellence in ministry. The Facilities Manager will develop and implement systems, schedules, and processes that support the operational needs of the church’s weekly services, events, and ministry programming. The Facilities Manager will serve as a key steward of CVCC’s physical resources — overseeing vendors, contractors, budgets, and maintenance programs in alignment with the church’s mission and values. Becoming a member of CVCC and acceptance/commitment to the CVCC Statement of Faith and Purity Agreement are prerequisites for the hiring of this position. Job Description Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all CVCC facilities, grounds, and campus infrastructure. Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all building systems, equipment, and physical assets. Coordinate facility setup, breakdown, and logistics for weekly services, special events, and ministry programming. Recruit, schedule, and lead a team of facilities volunteers and/or part-time staff to support campus operations. Manage vendor and contractor relationships including landscaping, janitorial, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security services. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety codes, health regulations, and insurance requirements. Oversee and manage the facilities budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, vendor contracts, warranties, and equipment service history. Respond promptly to urgent facility needs and after-hours emergencies as required. Collaborate cross-functionally with ministry and administrative staff to anticipate and meet facility needs in advance. Other duties as designated and assigned by the Executive Administrator and Senior Pastor. Qualifications Demonstrating a lifestyle consistent with the characteristics stated above. 3+ years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or a closely related field. Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance. Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate part-time staff, volunteers, vendors, and contractors with professionalism and follow-through. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficient in the use of technology for scheduling, communication, and facilities management. Experience managing budgets and tracking operational expenses. Flexible, team‑oriented, and open to feedback in a dynamic ministry environment.
