Registered Nurse - Float Pool (Nights)This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, working 12-hour night shifts. This role requires comprehensive patient assessment, effective medication treatment, care coordination, patient education, and emergency response skills.ResponsibilitiesPerforming comprehensive assessments upon admission and monitoring condition trends throughout the patient's hospital stay.Preparing, administering, and charting prescribed medications (including IVs) and managing wound care or specialized equipment.Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.Instructing patients and families on post-surgery care, medication schedules, and post-discharge instructions.Recognizing early signs of medical deterioration and taking swift action to stabilize patients before emergencies occur.Schedule12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend required.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure2 years of Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry experience (required).BLS certification (AHA).Current RN licensure in Michigan.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
