Role Description The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dayton, OH, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility. The role includes managing clinical and non-clinical departments, ensuring high standards of resident care and safety, and maintaining regulatory and accreditation compliance. The Administrator leads and develops staff, manages budgets and financial performance, and supports quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction. Day-to-day tasks also involve collaborating with families and residents, coordinating with external partners and regulators, and promoting a culture of respect, accountability, and continuous improvement within the facility.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Nursing Home Administration and Long-term Care, with experience overseeing operations in a skilled nursing or similar senior care setting.
- Knowledge of Elder Care practices, resident rights, and person-centered care approaches that support quality of life and safety.
- Ability to manage Budgeting responsibilities, including financial planning, monitoring expenses, and supporting revenue and cost-containment goals.
- Experience in Training and developing interdisciplinary teams, fostering engagement, and supporting performance and professional growth.
- Current state license as a Nursing Home Administrator in Ohio (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
- Solid understanding of federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities, including survey readiness and compliance processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
