TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Cartersville, Georgia, 30120!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Georgia or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with charting systems required. Familiarity with Epic is required. Description: Unit details include every other weekend coverage. No call required. Floating may be required to other roles within the facility, as needed. No block schedule requests accepted. Compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time. If non-compliance occurs, start date will be pushed back by 2 weeks. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday within their assignment period. If two major holidays occur, travelers must work both. If three major holidays are within the assignment, travelers will work two holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. All requests for time off (RTO) must be finalized at the time of submission. There is a maximum RTO of 7 days per contract. Localization accepted at the same rate. Daily patient census averages 22 patients. Patient ratios during the day are 6:1. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams. Preferred patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The unit emphasizes patient care within a medical-surgical environment. Compliance with all onboarding and orientation requirements is mandatory. All modules must be completed and are factored into non-billable hours.
