Technical Data Analyst

Salary: $51,498 - 85,830 per year Requirements:

• We need someone with 3–5 years of proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Analyst.
• We require a bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• We look for strong knowledge of databases and database relationships, including SQL.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
• Familiarity with Epic, Salesforce, and/or QlikView/QlikSense is a plus.
• We value strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• We need someone who can manage multiple priorities, work efficiently, and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills are important.
• A background in finance, accounting, or Accounting Information Systems is preferred.
• Ongoing learning in QlikView, SQL, Epic, and Salesforce, including certifications, is expected.

• We collaborate with our Applications and IT teams to improve system functionality, assess business needs, and maintain documentation across our environment.
• We evaluate business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and help design and implement effective solutions.
• We support current business applications and provide technical assistance to more than 600 end users.
• We assist our BI Developer with internal QlikView requests, including dashboards, reports, and end-user training.
• We administer QlikView by managing users, securing data and reports, and troubleshooting technical issues under guidance.
• We optimize and maintain dashboards and reports, support data quality efforts, and identify process improvement opportunities.
• We analyze data from multiple sources such as QlikView, Salesforce, Epic, Excel, and SQL to determine the best reporting approach and ensure data integrity.
• We work with end users to gather report specifications and translate their needs into the most effective system solution.
• We interpret data models, including data transformation, QVD generation, and scripting.
• We build knowledge of roles across the agency and the software and integrations that support them.
• We support software upgrades and confirmation changes by reviewing release notes and making necessary database updates.
• We take on additional duties as needed and continue developing our technical expertise.
