Job Summary

The Finishing Case Sealer/Stacker is responsible for the efficient and high-quality operation of case sealing and stacking equipment within the packaging process. This role plays an important part in the final step of our folding carton manufacturing process. 

Duties/Responsibilities

• Completes final step of the finishing process by inputting finished cartons into cases.
• Seals cases and prepares for inventory storage or shipping to customers.
• Optimizes case sealing and stacking machine settings for maximum efficiency and quality output.
• Identifies and implements process improvements to minimize downtime and improve overall line productivity.
• Conducts root cause analysis of equipment malfunctions and develops preventative maintenance strategies.
• Maintains accurate production records and quality control data for analysis and reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production issues.
• Prior experience with the operation of an electric pallet jack a huge plus.
• Excellent communication skills to communicate within the team and other departments.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work effectively under pressure.
• Commitment to safety and a strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.  
• Detail oriented - ability to read labels and load tags to confirm they match.
• Basic math skills to understand how many cases fit on each pallet.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing or distribution experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move cases weighting up to 40 lbs.
• Repetitive motions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
