Regional Sales Manager

Human Resources Specialist @ REC BOAT HOLDINGS, LLC | Community Development Job Title : Regional Sales Manager Status: Salary Exempt Summary : Join a dynamic team where you'll play a key role in driving wholesale boat sales and strengthening dealer relationships for a specific brand and territory. You'll empower dealers to succeed by ensuring they effectively leverage company programs, policies, and resources to boost retail sales and profitability. Through proactive communication and strategic promotion, you'll help grow and maintain a thriving dealer network. Your insights will shape targeted sales and distribution strategies, and you'll influence product mix decisions to meet evolving market needs. Primary Duties and Responsibilities : Achieve regional unit sales objectives by introduction, implementation, and follow-up throughout the dealer organization. Ensure that wholesale, retail, and market share sales objectives are met or exceeded. Assist dealers in retail sales activity as requested or appropriate. Be fully educated on competitive product, finance, lease plans, merchandising, and promotional activities. Maintain product knowledge on company and competitive products through exposure to shows, literature, internet, and the like. Oversee and monitor the performance of existing dealerships. Identify, evaluate, and recommend the appointment of new dealers in accordance with the existing distribution plan. Assist and coordinate with the dealer principal and dealer sales personnel in managing inventory, advertising, sales promotions, merchandising, dealer boat shows, and the like in accordance with our programs. Provide support to the dealer through boat shows and travel to their respective locations. Train and motivate dealer personnel to increase sales. Enable dealers to meet the highest professional criteria and best practices in sales and customer service for the betterment of the brand. Ensure that the company is receiving the leading share of sales in respective markets, returning a profit to the organization. Ensure that all promotions and shows align with the company’s image of “world leader.” Ensure that dealers maintain product stock and keep up with market demands. Complete reporting requirements on dealer sales activities and monitor dealer websites. Prepare wholesale and retail sales forecasts. Operate within established budgetary guidelines. Monitor order tracking, changes, and shipping. Keep contact with all new owners to ascertain their satisfaction with the dealer and the product and resolve owner/dealer conflicts. Effectively communicate with all the company’s departments to keep them informed of dealer issues and obtain answers for dealers, sales staff, and owners in a timely manner. Implement a sales reporting system and meet the regular updates required by management. Perform all other miscellaneous duties as assigned, needed, or requested to ensure the success of the company. Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least five (5) years of distribution or dealer sales management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Knowledge of what is necessary to be a leader in the distribution of luxury brands. Knowledge and interest in boating (proficient boating skills preferred). Knowledge of the process of evaluating and competing with luxury brands. Knowledge of Microsoft computer software programs and ability to use a computer. Ability to superbly and effectively communicate with people at all levels of manufacturing, wholesale, and retail. Ability to give high-level presentations. Ability to think on your feet, understand situations, and potential outcomes. Not a 9-5 role. Ability to make common-sense decisions. Ability to complete projects and meet deadlines. This position requires travel 40% to 50% of the time. Does not have to live in FLL. Can work remote.
