Position Overview Great operations leaders don't just keep businesses running—they build systems, improve processes, and empower teams to perform at their best. As an Operations Manager at Mix Tape Ventures, you'll lead operational initiatives across our portfolio of businesses, helping streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure cross‑functional teams work together effectively. You'll collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for operational excellence while driving projects that create measurable business impact. Every day is different. You might be optimizing a fulfillment process, coordinating a cross‑department initiative, improving operational reporting, implementing a new system, or helping solve a complex business challenge. What You'll Do Lead day‑to‑day operational activities across multiple business functions and portfolio companies. Manage logistics, supply chain, and operational workflows to ensure efficient execution. Identify, develop, and implement process improvements that increase productivity and reduce inefficiencies. Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives between operations, sales, marketing, finance, customer service, and leadership teams. Develop operational metrics, reporting, and dashboards to support informed decision‑making. Lead, mentor, and support team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Assist with the implementation of new technologies, systems, and operational best practices. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. Help identify operational risks and proactively develop solutions. Support strategic initiatives that improve scalability and long‑term business performance. Ideal Candidates Demonstrate Many Of The Following Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent organizational and project management abilities. Exceptional problem‑solving and critical thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Experience improving operational processes and implementing scalable systems. High degree of ownership, accountability, and professionalism. Comfortable making data‑driven decisions and collaborating across departments. Experience with operations, supply chain, logistics, project management, business systems, or process improvement is a plus. Familiarity with ERP systems, eCommerce operations, automation tools, or business analytics is also a plus—but not required.
