Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status, using validated tools and interviews.

• Create individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings, considering each client's unique background and experiences.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions—both individual and group—providing clients with essential coping strategies and tools for overcoming psychological barriers.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches to therapy, ensuring that treatment methods are up to date and culturally competent.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare providers, making appropriate referrals for additional services when necessary, such as psychiatric evaluations for medication management.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment plans using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the privilege of working with a broad spectrum of clients, including adolescents and adults dealing with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health settings.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Strong skills in crisis intervention, fostering a calm, effective therapeutic environment even in challenging situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
