High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous long-term care experience ordering supplies
Computer knowledge
Ability to work independently or as part of a group
Fill requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment
Stock supply rooms and nutrition rooms on each unit with medical supplies
Ensure inventory is updated as required when receiving/issuing supplies and equipment
Organize storage and catalog locations of supplies and equipment for efficient handling and to prevent deterioration
Pass out ice water to residents, make beds, and answer residents' call lights
Report all accidents and incidents you observe as soon as possible
Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Charge Nurse or Unit Manager
Answer phones as necessary
Perform other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator
