Senior Accountant
Addison Group, in partnership with our client in the entertainment industry, seeks a Senior Accountant in Irvine, CA to join their team.
Compensation/Benefits: Salary range can increase up to $110,000/year depending on qualifications. Our client supplements base compensation with health and wellness benefits.
Senior Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close tasks, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and cost center analysis
- Support month-end close processes for international subsidiaries
- Manage accruals, fixed assets, and other assigned accounts
- Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with third-party accounting firms and internal departments to ensure accurate reporting
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implemented changes to enhance efficiency
- Prepare documentation for external audit requests
- Assist with monthly sales and use tax filings
- Contribute to special projects, data analysis, and reporting for management
Senior Accountant Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting
- Ability to organize time and tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong oral and written communication skills
