Senior Business Systems Analyst | Remote

In this role, you will evaluate current foreign exchange operations, support the migration from a legacy Spectrum platform, assess modern solutions such as Calypso and ION, and help drive the successful transformation of critical trading and settlement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis and planning for an FX platform migration.
• Document current-state workflows and define future-state business and system requirements.
• Evaluate Calypso, ION, and other potential FX trading platforms.
• Partner with traders, operations teams, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements.
• Analyze FX processes involving trade capture, pricing, risk management, confirmation, and settlement.
• Review and support SWIFT integrations, including MT300, MT103, and MT202 messaging.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and operational workflows.
• Support vendor selection, implementation planning, testing, and migration activities.
• Present recommendations, project updates, risks, and findings to stakeholders and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Business Systems Analyst experience within banking, financial services, or capital markets.
• Direct experience supporting FX trading systems.
• Strong knowledge of spot, forwards, swaps, options, and the complete FX trade lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with Calypso, ION, Spectrum, or similar trading platforms.
• Experience supporting complex system implementations or migrations.
• Strong understanding of SWIFT messaging and FX settlement processes.
• Ability to create clear business requirements, workflow diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience migrating from Spectrum FX.
• Experience working with both Calypso and ION platforms.
• Experience managing vendor evaluations, RFPs, or technology selection initiatives.
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and banking integration architecture.
• Experience with data migration, testing, validation, and production implementations.

Pay

$85.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
