Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health - Hartford N, CT (Overlay)

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative to serve the Hartford, Connecticut territory, promoting bone health and other products to medical professionals. The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge, executing sales strategy, managing customer relationships, and addressing reimbursement challenges while supporting patient access.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clinical benefits and product knowledge to medical professionals and drive appropriate product utilization
• Execute branded sales campaigns, conduct educational programs, and achieve sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and maintain customer relationships, customize interactions, resolve reimbursement issues, and manage product access
• Analyze territory performance, provide marketing feedback, and collaborate on territory planning with District Manager
• Model company values including science-based decision-making, ethical conduct, and commitment to patient outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years sales experience
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry experience preferred
• Proven sales achievement and ability to influence medical professionals
• Knowledge of specialty therapeutic areas including bone health, oncology, cardiology, and inflammation
• Strong relationship-building and account management capabilities
• Ability to navigate complex payer environments and reimbursement systems

Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 annual base (Specialty Representative); $115,036–$155,638 annual base (Senior Specialty Representative)
