Senior HR Generalist - Winona, MNAt Anova, we do things differently: We care about your goals and ensuring you're taken care of personally and professionally. We need a motivated Senior Human Resources Generalist to be the sole on-site HR professional for our Winona, MN manufacturing facility of 75-80 employees as we work to strengthen communities by designing, manufacturing, and selling beautiful outdoor site furnishings.Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external stakeholdersServe as the first point of contact for employee relations issues and coach supervisors on how to resolve employee relations and performance issues using the CORE methodologyManage full-cycle recruiting for the Winona facility to ensure we hire A-Players, including an annual hiring plan and partnerships with technical schools and community collegesReduce turnover by ensuring we have and execute a great onboarding process that sets new hires up for successStrengthen the leadership team by developing strong partnerships with each supervisorCoordinate the performance management process, including quarterly coaching, goal and objective setting, and GWC reviewsBuild and lead employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiativesCoordinate benefits enrollment and payroll accuracy for the facility, and ensure compliance with federal and Minnesota employment lawBuild relationships in the Winona community by attending and engaging at job fairs, school and civic events, etc. to position us as an employer of choice; be an ambassador of Anova, telling our storyTrack and report HR metrics - turnover, absenteeism, overtime, vacancies, and training hoursSupport safety coordinator by processing and tracking all workers' compensation paperwork ensuring communication is timely and clear to those involvedProtect our customers, our employees, and our brand by protecting personal and sensitive informationWhy Anova?Friendly and Casual Atmosphere / Jeans Dress CodeOpen Door Policy / Innovative Environment Competitive Salary / Paid Holidays / Annual Profit SharingMedical / Dental / Vision / Life Insurance / 401(k) MatchingEducation AssistanceWhat we require: Honesty & Integrity RespectBachelor's Degree in HR (or related field) or 4+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years as an HR Generalist; manufacturing or hourly workforce experience preferredCamaraderie & Relationship BuildingProblem Solving & Systematic ThinkingAttention to DetailInitiative - Self-Directed & Self-Motivated Proficiency with Microsoft Applications including Office and ExcelMinnesota employment law knowledge and PHR/SHRM certification a plusAnova provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
