Financial Analyst InternAt Intuitive, Financial Analyst Interns work on meaningful projects that support business decisions, improve processes, and create lasting impact. Interns are embedded within a finance team, partnered with an experienced mentor, and given ownership of work that contributes to real business outcomes. Interns lead a summer capstone project and present recommendations to Finance leadership.Essential Job DutiesPerform financial and operational analyses supporting planning, forecasting, budgeting and decision making.Develop reports, dashboards and data visualizations using financial and operational data.Conduct business case, ROI and cost-benefit analyses.Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.Collaborate, as needed, with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain and Commercial teams.Lead a capstone project and present findings to leadership.Required Skills and ExperienceSuperb analytical skills and experience working with data (wrangling, cleaning, summarizing, etc.), including at least one major quantitative research project desired (e.g. stats or econometrics term papers)Excellent attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively (written, oral)Excellent interpersonal skills including a collaborative work styleDeep desire to learn and acquire new skillsSelf-motivated, curious, and comfortable with ambiguous challengesHigh integrity with the ability to handle confidential information and data appropriatelyFamiliarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint3.0+ GPA (please list on resume)Authorization to work in the US is a prerequisite for employmentSponsorship of work visa is not availableUniversity Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements:University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall.Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruiting process.Required Education and TrainingCurrent enrollment and completion of at least two years of an undergraduate program in finance, business administration, accounting, economics, or related field prior to internship.Preferred Skills and ExperienceAccounting courseworkMinor in data analytics, statisticsExperience with Tableau and SQL
