This role is an opportunity to shape the market presence of one of Los Angeles' most distinctive hotels while driving revenue across all segments, including group & business travel.What You'll DoDevelop and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies that position westdrift as a premier destination in Los Angeles and the South BayLead, inspire, and grow a high-performing sales, catering, and marketing teamDrive group and event business across our expansive and unique venues, from beachfront-inspired weddings to large-scale corporate and tech eventsIdentify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships to maximize revenue and brand visibilityCollaborate with revenue management to optimize pricing, forecasting, and distribution strategiesElevate the hotel's digital presence and storytelling to reflect its distinctive lifestyle positioningBuild strong relationships with key clients, agencies, and community partnersDevelop Budgets and Sales & Marketing PlansPosition will represent the Sales & Marketing Department on the Executive CommitteeWhat We're Looking For3+ Years proven success in hotel sales leadership, preferably within lifestyle or luxury propertiesStrong understanding of the Los Angeles market and group/event segmentsCreative, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building brand identityExceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skillsAbility to balance strategic vision with hands-on executionMarriott Brand & CITY sales system experience is a plusThis is more than a sales leadership role—it's a chance to define the voice and growth of a one-of-a-kind coastal destination.
