Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide therapeutic services, including individual, couples, and family therapy, focusing on relationship dynamics and communication issues.

• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans with measurable goals.

• Employ family systems theory and systemic interventions to address and resolve familial stressors and relational challenges.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and emotional support, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and their families.

• Maintain up-to-date and precise client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Guide clients in developing effective communication strategies, conflict resolution techniques, and coping mechanisms to enhance their emotional well-being.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Marriage and Family Therapist at Life Edge Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and children/adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Our clients often seek therapy for issues related to communication problems, family conflicts, premarital and marital concerns, trauma, and personal issues that affect family systems. Your role is vital in helping them navigate these challenges and fostering healthier relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.

• Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline.

• At least three years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with clients effectively.

• A commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality in all therapeutic interactions.

• A proven ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of a clinical team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
