Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnoses of health plan members experiencing behavioral issues or mental health concerns that may impact their medical condition, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Demonstrate expertise in a variety of treatment modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant frameworks to address client-specific needs.

• Effectively communicate clinical insights to both clients and clinical staff, ensuring clarity and fostering collaborative treatment planning.

• Document all clinical encounters meticulously in member charts, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards of care.

• Begin initial interviews by interpreting the psychological and social meanings of client complaints, facilitating a deep understanding of their concerns.

• Assess the urgency of clients' needs promptly and accurately, ensuring that you provide timely interventions.

• Render immediate therapeutic guidance to members in crisis, navigating complex scenarios to ensure their safety and emotional well-being.

• Recommend appropriate courses of therapeutic action based on clinical assessments and your professional judgment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with health plan members facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and relationship issues. The role encompasses interactions with individuals whose mental well-being directly impacts their medical health, requiring a nuanced understanding of the interplay between psychological and physiological factors.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (or related field) is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted state-specific license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Two (2) years of post-graduate experience in mental health therapy is required, with a focus on direct clinical practice.
