Job Overview A law firm seeks a Patent Agent with a background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering to join their Intellectual Property Team in Atlanta, GA. This role offers a chance to work in a collaborative environment within a forward-thinking law firm. Duties Draft and prosecute patents, and conduct IP due diligence. Respond to office actions and manage client portfolios. Prepare, obtain, and analyze patent searches. Provide assessments on patentability, prior art, non-infringement, and validity. Engage in client counseling and licensing activities. Requirements 3+ years of experience in patent law. Registered to practice before the USPTO. Proven experience in an IP law firm. Superb writing and research skills. Strong academic record. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Certifications USPTO registration.
