The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee a team of 4-7 employees responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable functions. This role ensures timely invoice processing, payment scheduling, vendor management, and adherence to audit compliance and company policies. The manager will serve as the primary point of contact for vendors on a weekly basis and drive efficient dispute resolution while leveraging SAP and other ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage invoice processing and ensure accurate payment scheduling
- Supervise and support a team of accounts payable professionals
- Maintain effective vendor relationships with weekly interactions
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and company policies
- Implement and enforce accounts payable policies and procedures
- Resolve payment and invoice disputes efficiently
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency with SAP and other ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong team leadership and financial reporting abilities
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and attention to detail
