Work Environment

This is an onsite position in our modern outpatient office, where you will engage directly with patients in a hands-on, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations through comprehensive assessments of their physical abilities and limitations while considering age-specific needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on diagnosis and therapeutic goals that integrate seamlessly with the continuum of care.
• Implement and modify treatment strategies as necessary, documenting patient progress and response to interventions accurately.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and home exercises to reinforce recovery beyond therapy sessions.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices to enhance rehabilitation effectiveness.
• Adhere to state practice laws and professional standards, ensuring all documentation and billing is completed with precision.
• Maintain professional competency through ongoing training and education, including equipment usage and safety procedures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgery, injuries, and those managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will be responsible for adapting treatment approaches to meet the diverse needs of individuals across different age groups, enhancing their recovery experiences through empathy and understanding. Your knowledge of growth and development principles will prove invaluable when developing age-appropriate therapies and interventions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida is required, with a temporary permit being acceptable until full licensure is obtained. You should also maintain up-to-date BLS/Healthcare Provider certification to ensure patient safety.

Preferred Experience

Preferably, candidates will have previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, demonstrating proficiency in evaluating and treating a diverse patient population. Familiarity with modern therapeutic techniques and treatment modalities, as well as experience in documentation and patient management systems, will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually.
