Transportation Operations Coordinator

We are a busy distribution operation in Chester County looking for a reliable, organized individual to support our daily transportation activities. This position plays an important role in keeping deliveries on schedule and supporting our drivers throughout the day. If you enjoy problem-solving, staying organized, and being the go-to person when things need to get done, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Do Coordinate routes for company drivers and third-party carriers Track driver progress and provide updates to internal teams and customers Communicate delays or issues quickly and clearly Work directly with drivers to help resolve unexpected situations (closed docks, breakdowns, route changes, etc.) Partner with shipping staff and yard drivers to ensure trailers are loaded and dispatched on time Assist with backhauls, scheduling adjustments, and general fleet support What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of logistics or transportation experience preferred Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word Strong communication skills (phone and email) Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Someone who can work independently and make sound decisions A team player who genuinely wants to support drivers and coworkers What We Offer Competitive hourly pay 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Location: Chester County, PA (In-Person) Schedule: 3.5 days per week | 12-hour shifts Employment Type: Full-Time #J-18808-Ljbffr
