Position Overview This is a licensed Life & Health agent role with a primary focus on Medicare Advantage and Medicare supplement plans in the San Antonio market. You'll work both pre-qualified leads from TMS and your own self-generated prospects, educating seniors and enrolling them into the right Medicare plans. This is a high-touch, relationship-driven sales role for someone who wants to build a long-term career with growing renewal income and strong in-house support — not just a job. What You'll Do Conduct personalized Medicare consultations (in-home and phone-based) Work company-generated leads and develop self-sourced prospects Explain plan benefits, provider networks, and costs to Medicare-eligible individuals Support clients through enrollment, education, and post-sale service Represent the TMS brand at community events, provider offices, and partner venues Track client interactions and performance metrics in our CRM Collaborate with leadership on quality standards, compliance, and retention goals Qualifications 2–5 years of insurance sales experience, ideally Medicare or health insurance in San Antonio or Texas Active Texas Life and Health Insurance License (required or ability to obtain quickly) CMS/AHIP certification preferred (or willingness to complete) Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills Strong time management, follow-through, and self-direction Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred Compliance-focused and values-driven Compensation Structure We offer a compensation model designed to reward both immediate performance and long-term client stewardship: Base salary starting at $40,000 annually (W-2, not a draw) Performance-based commissions for each sale, scaled by lead source Monthly bonuses tied to active clients retained on your book Renewal income on active clients, so your total income grows as your book grows and persists Annual raises tied to clear production and retention milestones Example: 100+ new clients in a year with strong retention can earn a meaningful increase in base pay Projected Income: Year 1: typically $50,000–$70,000+ for agents who plug into our system and work the leads Years 2–3: often $70,000–$90,000+ as your client base, renewals, and bonuses grow The posted pay range of $50,000–$90,000 reflects total compensation including base salary, commissions, bonuses, and renewals. Actual results depend on your activity level, closing rate, and client retention. Because Medicare is seasonal and client needs don't always fall between 9–5, there will be times — especially during enrollment periods — when clients need support after normal business hours or on weekends. Top performers lean into these peak seasons and may occasionally work more than 40 hours per week to meet client needs and performance goals.
