Responsibilities Answers phones and assists guests with scheduling reservations and activities. Efficiently communicate via emails and calls prior to guest arrival to schedule activities, transportation, and dining times. Serve as contact for guests prior to their arrival to inform guests of special events during their stay and answer questions. Collect and maintain guest information and preferences by updating guest database. Provide a warm welcome to guests as they arrive at the front desk to check-in for their stay. Confirm all scheduled activities and dining times. Ensure proper payment, deposit, and financial arrangements. Assist guests with special requests, transportation, and be knowledgeable about the property so as to answer any questions they may have. Open or close lodge daily ensuring all requests and guest charges are correct. Maintain cleanliness of lodge and reception area. Provide courteous detail of all charges as requested upon guest checkout, close out and process in an efficient and pleasant fashion. Flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed. All other duties as assigned. To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent Hospitality experience is preferred Must have a valid driver’s license and submit to a background check Skills Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, team members and managers Basic math skills. Must be able to multitask and remain calm and courteous under pressure Be familiar with all aspects of the property and exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals Physical Demands Job may include lifting of luggage and other guest requests May be on your feet 50% of the time Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart Work Environment General office and guest reception area 650+ acres of Windy Hill Farm and Preserve Job Type: Part-time / Full-time Experience Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Windy Hill Farm and Preserve
