Seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to provide one-on-one support to a high school male student with moderate to severe needs in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity blends consistent hours with the chance to make a lasting impact through daily mentorship and academic guidance. The schedule follows standard school hours, offering early afternoon finishes and weekends off.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional in school environments
• Background in supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities, preferably at the high school level
• Bilingual (Spanish) fluency required for effective communication and support
• Male candidates preferred for student pairing needs
• Demonstrated commitment to building positive, consistent relationships with students and faculty
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized support to a high school student, following an educational plan developed with teaching and therapy staff
• Assist with daily classroom activities, accommodations, and personal care as needed
• Adapt to the evolving needs of the student, fostering a supportive and respectful environment
• Support academic and behavioral goals throughout the school day (7:07 AM – 2:10 PM)
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and family members to ensure optimal student success
