Phlebotomist- Part Time

About the Role Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Springfield, NJ. This role involves performing blood collections, specimen processing, and data entry while providing exceptional customer service. Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other testing purposes. Enter patient information accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least one year of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency if no work experience. Proven track record of exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $17.75 – $24.00 per hour. Phlebotomists may be eligible for the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Benefits: Employees scheduled 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO/FTO.
