Work Schedules: Schedules will vary based on workload
2nd Shift: Monday--Thursday: 3:00pm -- 12:30am & Friday: 12:00pm -- 6:00pm

Job Summary: The Assembler plays an important role in bringing Valley Cabinet products to life. In this hands-on position, you’ll help build high-quality cabinetry by assembling products with precision, efficiency, and attention to detail. Working alongside a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you’ll contribute to creating finished products that reflect the craftsmanship and quality Valley Cabinet is known for.

Essential Functions:

Assembly & Production

• Perform assembly tasks using hand tools, equipment, and standard processes.

• Follow work instructions, drawings, or specifications.

• Ensure products are assembled accurately and meet quality standards.

Quality & Accuracy

• Inspect materials and completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

• Identify and communicate issues as needed.

Workflow & Efficiency 

• Support production schedules and maintain consistent output.

• Contribute to efficient workflow and team productivity.

Safety & Organization

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

T eam Collaboration 

• Work collaboratively with team members and leadership.

• Support team goals and overall production success.

Perform other duties as assigned 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred, but not required.

• Ability to use hand tools and follow instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

• Experience: Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment

Manufacturing / Production Environment – Shop-floor exposure, physical activity, PPE required, safety-sensitive.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform the essential functions of the position including, but not be limited to the following:

• Sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Moving, bending, standing, kneeling, lifting and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, pinching, fine motor dexterity.
• Exposure to high noise levels and requires wearing hearing protection in designated areas.
• Exposure to plant environment to include moving parts, fumes, dust. Safety glasses to be worn at all times.
• Endure heat and cold conditions in the plant.
