Job Title: General Assembler

Job Description

Join our team in the assembly department where you will work on assembling products using hand and power tools. You will collaborate with other assemblers to efficiently move racks and shelves.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products using hand and power tools.

• Work collaboratively with other assemblers to move racks and shelves.

• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.

• Measure components accurately to ensure proper fitting.

• Load and unload workpieces, requiring the ability to bend and lift.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of assembly experience.

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience.

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Experience in mechanical assembly and using measuring tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with assembly processes and materials.

• General labor experience.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, smaller machine/metal shop with a close-knit team of 40 people, including office personnel. Enjoy a friendly atmosphere where everyone knows each other by first name. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 am to 3:00 pm.

This is a Permanent position based out of Appleton, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
