Position Details- Job Title: Dental Hygienist
- Hourly Pay Rate: $35.00 - $42.00
- Location: Columbus Health Department, 5601 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, GA 31904
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 29 hours per week
Under general supervision, the Dental Hygienist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Delivering preventive oral hygiene care to patients of all ages, including both adults and children.
- Conducting dental x-rays, cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and providing oral health education.
- Documenting dental conditions, diseases, and anomalies in patient records.
- Cleaning, sterilizing, and ensuring the proper maintenance of dental instruments and equipment.
- Setting up and breaking down operatory equipment between patient appointments.
- Carrying out additional related tasks as assigned.
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $35 to $42 .
