Registered Nurse (CVOR) - Day Shift in Metairie, LA

What You'll Do

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the cardiovascular operating room
Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Monitor vital signs and maintain sterile environments during surgeries
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare team members
Document patient information accurately and efficiently in EPIC electronic health records
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Support post-operative care and patient education as needed

What You Need
Required:

Valid Louisiana RN license
Minimum 2 years CVOR nursing experience
ACLS and BLS certifications
EPIC electronic health record experience (preferred not required)

Preferred:

Prior experience in a high-volume cardiovascular surgery setting
