Medical Affairs Associate

Our client, a Pharmaceuticals company, is looking for a Medical Affairs Associate for their Santa Monica, CA/El Segundo, CA/Hybrid location. Responsibilities include assisting in the review of study-related documents, playing a direct role in clinical study and program execution, supporting activities associated with out-of-specification programs, managing vendors and external partners, attending internal team meetings, providing training at investigator meetings, managing and tracking key deliverables, proactively identifying potential study or program issues, preparing metrics and status updates, assisting in the resolution of clinical trial queries, preparing site newsletters and correspondence, assisting in the resolution of routine questions from clinical trial sites and external stakeholders, participating in special projects, and applying standard medical and scientific terminology appropriately.

Requirements include a BS/BA/RN in nursing, science, or a health-related field with 3-5 years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include oncology/hematology experience, cellular therapy experience, experience with iMedidata/RAVE EDC, study start-up experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, comfort in a fast-paced small company environment, and working knowledge of transplant patient care and apheresis collection.
