School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Vista, California

Multiple full-time contract positions are available, working with pre-kindergarten through 8th-grade students. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in California
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Deliver both direct and consultative services as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team
• Advocate for students' needs, ensuring access to academic and social opportunities
