Property Accountant Job in San Diego, CA

LHH is looking to fill a Direct Hire Property Accountant Job in San Diego County. The Property Accountant will have advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and experience using Yardi Voyager software (ideally). You will be responsible for a portfolio of properties, performing reconciliations, assisting with the month-end closing procedures and ad hoc projects as assigned. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and pays between $75,000 to $95,000 annually, plus bonus potential.

Responsibilities of Property Accountant Job

• Portfolio accounting management - monthly close
  
• Performing all related account reconciliations
  
• Recording of accruals and expense allocation
  
• Maintain general financials for investors and Owners
  
• Familiar with both AP and AR process
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of general accounting experience
  
• Bachelor's Degree is a plus
  
• Familiarity with ERP systems (i.e. Yardi, MRI)
  
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables)
