Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our onsite rehabilitation facility, you will operate in a well-structured and collaborative environment. You will typically work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Our team environment allows for the exchange of ideas and best practices, ensuring that you are never alone in your efforts to provide quality care. We maintain strict adherence to cleanliness and safety standards, providing you with a conducive and regulatory-compliant workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations for new patients, interpreting results to formulate individual treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific conditions and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement and deliver effective therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities informed by evidence-based practices.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on changes in condition and feedback.
• Educate patients about their conditions, providing them with knowledge on home exercise programs, posture correction strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing recovery.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring effective communication with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment protocols using electronic health record (EHR) systems and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on advancements in orthopedic physical therapy techniques and methodologies, committing to continuous personal and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including athletes seeking to regain peak performance, elderly individuals recovering from joint surgeries, and everyone in between. Your role is essential in helping these individuals regain function, relieve pain, and return to their preferred activities—be it sports or daily life.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Strong manual therapy skills coupled with proficiency in therapeutic exercise techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to connect with patients effectively.
• A commitment to maintaining professionalism and ethical standards in patient care.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting is preferred; however, we welcome applications from new graduates who are eager to learn and grow.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a therapeutic context is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience.
