Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit under a team nursing model, working alongside LPN team members at an 8:1 ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG data; complete an open-book EKG test at orientation
• Float within scope of practice as needed, including occasional float to a sister facility approximately 25 minutes away
• Complete 4 weekend shifts per contract as required
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification (must not expire within 30 days of assignment start)
• Current NIHSS certification (must not expire within 30 days of assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Willingness to work the full 13-week contract and float to a sister facility as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification
• Prior experience working within a team nursing model
