Staff Accountant

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support a growing organization during a period of operational transition and system implementation. This role will play a key part in maintaining daily accounting functions, supporting reporting needs, and assisting with month-end close activities. Key Responsibilities For The Staff Accountant Perform cash application and reconciliation, matching transactions across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll Complete bank reconciliations as part of the month-end close process Review and support accounts payable and invoicing, including allocating expenses across multiple entities or clients Assist with month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Generate and maintain ad hoc financial reports using Excel and Google Sheets Analyze data and ensure accuracy of financial records and reporting Daily Responsibilities For The Staff Accountant Review and manage cash activity within the accounting system Work through reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Support invoice review and expense allocation processes Create and update tracking documents and reports Collaborate with accounting leadership on reporting and close activities Qualifications for the Staff Accountant Strong experience with QuickBooks Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets Experience with cash and bank reconciliations Accounts Payable experience Solid understanding of the full accounting cycle Preferred Experience with NetSuite Exposure to month-end close processes (prepaids, assets, reporting) Experience with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis Work Environment & Culture Collaborative and team-oriented environment Strong communication culture using digital tools Opportunity to work closely with accounting leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr
