Travel Physical Therapist Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others? Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you'll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC

Assignment Details

• Patient population: Outpatient Ortho
• First-time travelers accepted
• New grads accepted
• Float to other clinics as needed
• Productivity expectation is 60 visits per week
• Expected patient volume is 12-14 patients per day
• Double-booking of follow-up visits expected
• Overtime must be approved by the director before any overtime hours are worked

Sumter, South Carolina offers access to outdoor recreation and regional travel routes for clinicians seeking a balanced assignment. Swan Lake Iris Gardens is located in Sumter and features walking paths and the nation's only public collection of all eight swan species. Poinsett State Park is about 20 miles from Sumter and offers hiking trails, kayaking, and boardwalk access through the High Hills of Santee. Columbia is about 45 miles west and provides additional dining, museums, and access to Congaree National Park, which is about 35 miles southeast of the city.
