Deskside Support Manager

Role Overview The Deskside Support Manager will lead a team of 10-15 technicians supporting a range of customers across two facilities in the Washington DC area and three remote field locations. The team provides Tier-2 and Tier-3 end-user services and technical support, and acts as a vital link between the off-site Tier-1 Service Desk and System Engineering and Operations groups. What You Will Do The Deskside Support Manager will ensure the successful delivery of Desk Side Support services to a Federal customer within the Department of Justice. This includes performing at the customer site in Washington, DC, interfacing daily with Federal customers, and leading a team of technicians. Why It Might Be a Fit This role requires a customer-first attitude, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to multitask and function in a quick-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience, a strong IT services background, and experience with service, incident, and problem management. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of prior relevant experience OR Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience Prior Leadership experience A strong IT services background, with past experience providing day-to-day IT services both as an individual contributor and as a leader A thorough understanding of how to manage a team of technicians supporting multiple diverse end-user systems while meeting Service Level delivery targets Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to multitask and function in a quick-paced environment Experience leading organizations performing IT Operations Strong experience with service, incident, and problem management Demonstrated experience with a modern service ticketing system such as ServiceNow Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance U.S. Citizen Benefits Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00 Program budget salary for this role could fall anywhere between $100,000 to $110,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr Leidos
