HR Generalist (Bilingual English/Spanish)

We are working with a growing and dynamic organization seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Hialeah, Florida. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting a growing workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
• Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits-related questions.
• Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, conducting investigations, and assisting with conflict resolution.
• Assist managers with performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee development initiatives.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all employment regulations and company policies.
• Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Payroll & Administration

• Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations.
• Manage timekeeping systems and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Coordinate with benefits providers and payroll vendors as needed.
• Prepare HR and payroll reports for management.
• Assist with audits, workers' compensation claims, and unemployment claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience with exposure to all areas of Human Resources.
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting and onboarding.
• Experience processing payroll and managing employee records.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Experience working in a growing company environment is highly preferred.
