Field Auto Damage Appraiser - Nassau County

Job Overview Field Auto Appraiser responsible for evaluating vehicle damage, preparing estimates, guiding customers through repair or total loss process, and collaborating with repair shops and service providers. Works on‑site, virtually, or via written communication. Responsibilities Conduct on‑site damage inspections and virtual inspections as needed. Prepare detailed and accurate repair or total loss estimates. Communicate with customers, repair shops, and vendors via phone, email, or video chat. Investigate casualty claims, interpret policies, and determine coverage. Negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, third‑party carriers, and claimants. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the claims system. Apply defined claim‑handling procedures and compliance requirements. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 3–5 years of auto collision estimating experience using CCC or Mitchell. Proficient written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise estimates. Comfortable using technology and various claims platforms. Excellent time‑management and organizational skills to handle multiple assignments. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for field assignments. Ability to obtain and maintain adjuster or appraiser licenses within 60 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Active appraiser or adjuster license in TX, FL, or resident state. Experience using CCC ONE or related vehicle valuation tools. Compensation Annual salary range: $60,000 – $117,700, based on experience and qualifications. Position requires submission to a background investigation. Sign‑On Bonus $5,000 sign‑on bonus may be offered to qualified candidates who receive and accept an employment offer. Eligibility, payment timing, and conditions are outlined in the offer letter. Additionally, a $1,000 bonus may be provided for applicants with an active licensing status in TX, FL, or resident state. Candidates must reside in the specified area. A company car may be provided per mileage guidelines; mileage reimbursements are available for personal vehicle use. Licensing & Training Applicants are expected to obtain required adjuster or appraiser licenses in multiple markets, maintaining all necessary continuing education.
